What’s The Trilogy About?
I tell the stories of three ordinary women in 1970s Paris, Cairo, and Crete who come into possession of three extraordinary objects: a priceless antique doll, a Fabergé egg, and a diamond necklace made for an Egyptian princess. Over time, two of the objects mysteriously disappear, while one stays hidden in plain sight.
In the present day, their daughters make a series of startling discoveries involving not only the remarkable treasures, but also secret pasts of mothers they thought they knew, and long-ago decisions that dramatically altered their own lives.
